This role will be crucial in assisting the Financial Controller with enhancing current processes to adopt best practices and improve departmental efficiency. Key responsibilities will include updating financial position tracking documents and refining the forecasting process.
Our client is a globally recognized retail company with over 5,000 employees. They have a significant market presence and are well-known for their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assisting with short-term cash flow management.
- Inputting of actuals and forecasting for retail entities.
- Month-end financial closing tasks.
- Complete banking balance sheet reconciliations for each account across EMEA.
- Download and verify month-end exchange rates, then input them into the accounting system for all EMEA entities.
- Helping the Financial Controller with any ad-hoc tasks required.
**Requirements:**
- High attention to detail.
- Part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA.
- Proven experience in a similar finance role is essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong planning and organizational abilities.
