We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Wincanton Logistics Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated machinery in the pallet storage warehouse.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining and repairing equipment to prevent downtime and ensure customer demands are met. You will work closely with the engineering team to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules to a high standard.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks with a first-time fix approach.
- Liaise with operation and shift managers to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
- Identify and resolve problematic faults to minimize equipment downtime.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £50,000 to £56,000, a 42.5 hour week contract averaged over 17 weeks, and a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights).
