Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate IT Educator to join our team at a dynamic secondary school in the UK. As an IT Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and fostering a love for technology in students.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT Educator who can plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to students of varying abilities. You will be responsible for supporting students in developing strong digital literacy and technical skills, monitoring and assessing student progress, and providing feedback to guide their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
• Student Support: Support students in developing strong digital literacy and technical skills.
• Progress Monitoring and Feedback: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to guide their learning journey.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the school's pastoral team to support students' well-being and contribute to the school's extracurricular programme.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience teaching IT at secondary level.
• Subject Knowledge: Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
