Job Title: Educational Psychology Assistant

Location: Newcastle and North Tyneside

Salary: £83-100 per day

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Psychology Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Educational Psychology Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced consultants to provide support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pupils with special educational needs and disabilities with their personal and educational development
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting pupils
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Keen interest in supporting young people with special educational needs
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for pursuing a career in education
