As a key member of the Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive financial insights that support strategic decision-making across our global operations. Our organization operates in multiple countries and manages various distribution centers to effectively serve our international clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of both Group and subsidiary financial statements.
  • Manage stock valuation and aging processes, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead various financial projects that align with the Group's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to develop Group budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of gross margins and ensure accurate reconciliations.
  • Process ledger transactions and perform reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Execute monthly stock valuations and provisions for the Group.
  • Calculate and manage Group gross margin provisions.
  • Review product costing records monthly, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to facilitate smooth internal and external audits.
  • Maintain and update stock costing information across all Group entities.
  • Monitor and manage sample stock levels throughout the organization.
  • Ensure clarity and precision in accounting records through accurate journal postings.
  • Lead and mentor the management accounts team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Fully qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar financial role.
  • Proven track record in team management and development.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP accounting software.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Navision accounting software.
  • Experience in a multinational environment with foreign currency transactions.
  • Background in stock reporting, including valuations and provisions.
