About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Reed Talent Solutions. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for overseeing commissioning activities across various projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement commissioning strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout the commissioning process, from design to project handover.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, teams, and external contractors to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff, and contribute to the development of commissioning standards and procedures.
  • Project Delivery: Lead commissioning meetings, manage commissioning plans and files, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Commissioning Experience: Significant experience in commissioning capital investment projects throughout their complete lifecycle.
  • Leadership and Influence: Ability to influence and direct the approach to commissioning across the organization.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of commissioning strategies, planning, and delivery processes.
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant qualifications and certifications in commissioning and project management.
