Morepeople 01780 is a market leader in the world of Food Manufacturing, and we're seeking an Insight Analyst / Category Executive to kick-start a promising career in Category Management.

About the Role:

We're looking for a talented individual to input into NPD briefs, ensuring product concepts deliver against growth opportunities. You'll work closely with the Senior Category Marketing Manager to ensure consistency of approach and sharing of best practices between accounts.

  • Monitor and evaluate retailer category performance against Corporate RST or total category growth as relevant.
  • Contribute to customers' promotional and category range management through clear analysis and insight, and assist with NPD, ranging, and merchandising opportunities within this process.
  • Improve category performance understanding through utilization of available data sources.
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working within a Category Management function in an FMCG business.
  • Good analytical abilities and the ability to interpret data from multiple sources into trends, actionable insight, and opportunities.
  • Competent spreadsheet analysis skills working with large numeric data sets.
  • Experience of using market data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, Kantar) and the ability to extract relevant data and insight.
