Job Summary:

The Bench Hand Joiner will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling high-quality timber products in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and execute drawings and designs to produce high-quality timber products
  • Shape and assemble timber components using various woodworking machinery and tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Proven experience in bench hand joinery, preferably with a focus on staircase manufacturing
  • Strong skills in operating woodworking machinery and tools, including counterbalance forklift operation (desirable)
