Job Title: Children's Residential Registered Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Children's Residential Service in Sheffield. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management team and drive the service forward, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and Ofsted requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans, ensuring the needs of our young people are met.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and homely environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Mentor and guide an established staff team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure staff training and development, including the Level 7 Leadership and Management Qualification.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma (or equivalent).
- Hold their Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Have a minimum two years' experience working in a residential environment.
- Have experience leading and motivating a staff team.
- Knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements.
- Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile.
- Be able to handle challenges with patience and empathy.
