We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our client's team in the East Anglia region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence cases.

This role requires excellent negotiation, mediation, and courtroom advocacy skills to represent clients effectively. Our client has a strong support team, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys client interaction and values internal support to excel in their role.

You will have the flexibility and diversity to work with different offices and a range of clients, allowing for a varied and exciting work experience where you can make a significant impact on clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Representation: Representing clients in court for family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence cases.
  2. Legal Advice: Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on family law issues, ensuring they understand their rights and obligations.
  3. Case Management: Managing a caseload of family law cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  4. Document Preparation: Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
  5. Negotiation and Mediation: Engaging in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes amicably and avoid litigation where possible.
  6. Collaboration: Working closely with other professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and law enforcement, to support clients' needs.
  7. Research: Conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies and stay updated on changes in family law.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
