Key Duties:
  • Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in crafting and delivering engaging lessons tailored for KS2 students.
  • Individualized Support: Offer focused assistance to students, enhancing their learning experiences.
  • Behavioral Guidance: Help maintain a constructive and organized classroom atmosphere.
  • Resource Management: Assist in the preparation and arrangement of educational materials.
  • Supervision: Monitor students during non-classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Emotional Support: Promote the social and emotional development of students.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and staff to ensure comprehensive support for all learners.
  • Progress Tracking: Keep accurate records of student achievements and activities.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: Previous experience in child-focused roles, preferably within an educational context.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating patience and a positive demeanor.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting.
  • Commitment: Strong dedication to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare.
  • Special Needs Experience: Familiarity with supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Curriculum Understanding: Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • First Aid Certification: First aid training is a plus.
