As a Corporate Training Specialist in the food manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance both employee skills and organizational efficiency.
Given the stringent regulations in this industry, it is crucial to ensure that all staff, including agency workers, undergo a thorough induction program covering essential topics such as food safety, health and safety, and HACCP awareness.
Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Planning and conducting induction sessions for new hires
- Coordinating on-the-job training initiatives
- Creating tailored employee training and development plans aligned with the company's strategic goals
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on the organization
- Providing follow-up support for employees post-training
- Ensuring training programs are current, relevant, and cost-effective
- Developing instructional materials for internal training sessions
- Collaborating with various departments to identify their training needs
- Updating training content to comply with best practices and evolving legislative standards
- Exploring and integrating new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning
As a trainer, you will possess specialized knowledge in food safety and hold the necessary qualifications to design and implement effective training programs for employees.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to communicate new concepts and ideas effectively to training managers.
Strong time management abilities will be vital to ensure that training sessions are conducted within designated timeframes while maintaining their effectiveness.
Your expertise in your field should be exemplary, as you can anticipate inquiries during your training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Train the Trainer Certification
- Food Safety Level 3 Certification
- Knowledge of HACCP and NEBOSH standards
