Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment ltd. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM Schedules and meet set KPI Targets covering commercial sites including communal living, student accommodation, care homes, and other commercial sites.
  • Work on a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying (1 in 5/6) minimum of 4 or 8 hours paid at time and a half.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on commercial boilers, burners, oil, chillers, air conditioning, and other gas appliances.
  • Develop close working relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring long-term contracts and security.
Requirements:
  • Recognised industry qualifications, including Gas Safe/ACS Commercial Gas.
  • Good customer service skills, well-presented, and articulate.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances.
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts previously would be advantageous.
  • Motivated and trustworthy.
