Role Overview: As a Family Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload covering all aspects of Family Law. You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a range of matters including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and cohabitation agreements. This role requires a compassionate yet assertive approach, as you will often be dealing with sensitive and emotionally charged situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, child arrangements, and cohabitation agreements.
- Providing expert advice and representation in both contentious and non-contentious family law cases.
- Drafting and negotiating legal documents such as consent orders, separation agreements, and prenuptial agreements.
- Representing clients in court hearings and mediation sessions.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in family law to provide accurate and informed advice.
- Collaborating with other departments within the firm to offer a comprehensive service to clients.
Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Family Law.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a broad range of family law cases.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with a genuine passion for family law.
Benefits: £50,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience, 100% Office based, Full or Part time, your own office, Christmas & New Year off.
