This opportunity is presented by Brightwork, who are currently seeking a Temporary Catering Assistant for various client locations.
Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Catering Assistant to join a bustling canteen environment, primarily serving care facilities in Falkirk. Flexibility in working hours is essential as they may vary weekly.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Catering Assistant, your primary tasks will include:
1. Basic preparation of sandwiches, soups, and similar items.
2. Reheating of prepared meals.
3. Customer service and food serving.
4. Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, and pans.
5. Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas.
6. Assisting with stock movement and other related duties.
Essential Qualifications:
Experience in a similar catering role is required.
A food hygiene certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive pay rate of £12.15 per hour.
