Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials & Process Engineer to join our team at Ontic. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our materials and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize material selection
- Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues to ensure consistent application of materials and processes
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a Materials & Processes role, preferably with NPI/R&D and legacy programs
- Expertise in writing and approving technical materials reports and process specifications
- Detailed understanding of NADCAP and extensive knowledge of REACH implementation
- Experience in auditing suppliers of materials and special processes for approval purposes
- Natural leadership capability, either through a formal managerial or supervisory role or informally through a senior position
