Location: Warrington

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis at our Warrington Depot. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including stock counting and documenting any discrepancies found within the warehouse and office settings.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, your duties will include cross-referencing customer accounts, processing credits as necessary, and verifying stock dates. You will ensure compliance with SOX regulations while overseeing the complete management of customer returns and conducting live investigations related to pick shortages. The primary working hours are Monday to Friday during the day, with the possibility of supporting an occasional Saturday rota on a specialized shift, for which additional training will be provided. Once you reach the required competency, Saturday shifts may be as infrequent as once every six weeks.

To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess experience in a similar capacity. You will be welcomed by a supportive stock team, and strong communication skills along with the ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues will be essential. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring high accuracy levels, as well as the capability to effectively organize your workload. Proficiency in IT and a willingness to learn new software applications are necessary. Previous experience with FLT trucks is advantageous, though training can be provided by our in-house team if needed. Above all, a customer-focused attitude and eagerness to learn are vital attributes.
