Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our food testing and analytical services team. As a Food Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analysis to ensure the safety and compliance of food products with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct tests and analysis to detect potential hazards and report on findings/data.
- Work in a laboratory environment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on laboratory procedures and equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow procedures and processes accurately.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including communication and active listening.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, and LIMS systems.
