Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HGV Class 1 Driver Trainer to enhance the skills of our drivers. This role involves:
  • Providing comprehensive coaching and training for Class 1 drivers during on-site evaluations.
  • Delivering instruction on essential vehicle operations, including checks, coupling, uncoupling, and reversing techniques.
  • Informing drivers about industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Assessing and monitoring driver performance to facilitate improvement.
  • Guaranteeing that all training adheres to company policies and legal standards.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
  • Current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Strong communication and instructional abilities.
  • Successful completion of necessary assessments.
  • Familiarity with Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
  • A commitment to safety and best practices.
Job Details:
  • Type: Full-time, Temp to perm
  • Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
