We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing support to our team and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas, maintaining high standards of presentation at all times.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency and prolong its lifespan.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring that all stock meets company and legal standards.
- Assist in accurate record keeping, security, and safe storage of all relevant deliveries.
- Support the implementation of fire regulations and procedures, and assist in evacuations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent levels of personal hygiene and presentation standards.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
- Ability to follow company and legal responsibilities as a food handler.
