Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at a busy logistics company based in Worcester. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and preparing orders for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Stocking inventory in designated areas
  • Utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and locate items
  • Preparing orders for shipment by picking and packing items
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Performing general warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • FOLLOWING SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND MAINTAINING A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members

Working Hours: Monday-Friday and Sunday
