We are seeking a skilled Customer Advisor to join our Billing team. As a Customer Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer service and operational performance.
  • Work collaboratively with operations employees to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Accurately record and process customer enquiries.
  • Diagnose customer issues through detailed questioning and active listening.
  • Investigate and interpret data held on various systems.
  • Manage customer expectations and set timescales for actions to be performed.
  • Promote products in line with marketing input.
  • Conduct outbound calls following events and system unavailability.
  • Review performance statistics and take responsibility for personal development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly between 8.00am - 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am - 5.00pm on Saturday.
  • Experience of working with customers, face to face, telephone or internal customers.
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Numerical reasoning skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clear tone and understandable voice.
  • Experience of Microsoft office applications.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately in a pressurised environment.
