Project Surveyor Job Description

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Surveyor to join our team. As a Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for undertaking project management duties on allocated projects, including pre-contract, contract phase, and post-contract activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake project management duties, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Manage project teams, including supply chain partners, to ensure quality, safety, and programme delivery.
  • Lead defined projects and manage capital investment schemes, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Assist in the evaluation of tenders and the selection of suitable contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations, including CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations, and Party Wall Act.
  • Manage and monitor allocated budgets, ensuring expenditure is on target and meets financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant HND/HNC construction qualification, e.g., building surveying, quantity surveying, or architectural.
  • Project management experience in a property or contracting context.
  • Knowledge of industry legislation, including Building Regulations, Party Wall Act, and Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations.
  • Sound experience of writing specifications and obtaining quotes/tenders for work.
