We are seeking a highly skilled Translation Project Manager to join our team at M3EU. As a key member of our language services team, you will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of our translation services from request to delivery, ensuring the highest quality throughout the entire service chain.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate the workflow of translation projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.
- Resource Scheduling: Schedule resources for translation and proofreading, ensuring efficient use of time and skills.
- File Preparation: Prepare files for translation, including masking and locking of text irrelevant for each target language.
- Translation Memory Maintenance: Maintain translation memories to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Freelance Network Development: Build and develop a network of experienced and reliable freelance linguists, vetting their qualifications and negotiating rates.
- Linguist Account Management: Set up and maintain linguists' accounts in our supplier system, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Quality Control: Responsible for the quality control of translations, ensuring client standards are met and deadlines respected.
- Client Services: Deliver excellent client services, including communication, issue resolution, and project updates.
- Production Support: Participate in production when necessary, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Adverse Event Training: Undergo adverse event training when requested by clients, demonstrating commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Education: Higher education in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills, with experience in coordinating translation projects.
- CAT-Tool Proficiency: Good knowledge of a CAT-tool, preferably SDL Trados Studio.
- Translation Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the translation industry, including terminology, styles, and best practices.
- PEMT Comfort: Comfortable with PEMT (post edition of machine translation), ensuring high-quality translations.
- Independence and Multitasking: Ability to work independently, with strong multitasking and networking skills.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, as this is the official company language and all communication with clients is in English.
- Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave entitlement.
- Quarterly Bonus Scheme: Eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus scheme upon completion of the probationary period.
- Statutory Benefits: Entitled to all statutory benefits as required by French law, plus 25 days' annual leave, public holidays, and private health insurance.
