Backend Web Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Web Developer to join our team at Appoint Consulting Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting WordPress websites, with a focus on LearnDash and WooCommerce.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience using and extending WooCommerce, WooCommerce Subscriptions, payment plugins, shipping plugins, and tax plugins. They will also be proficient in custom WordPress plugin development, third-party API integrations, and Linux command-line tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and troubleshoot WordPress websites
  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins
  • Contribute to larger custom PHP/MySQL development projects
  • Help prioritize tasks on the Kanban board and share best practices with lean, agile methodology

Required Skills:

  • In-depth experience with WooCommerce and related plugins
  • Custom WordPress plugin development
  • Third-party API integrations
  • Linux command-line tools
  • Custom PHP/MySQL Development

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with specific WordPress plugins, such as WP All Import/Export
