We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team at Govia Thameslink Railway. As a key member of our Procurement Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our procurement strategy, ensuring we deliver the best results for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex supply chain categories, ensuring we drive commercial value from our suppliers and support our Safety, Sustainability, and CSR commitments.
- Support the development of the procurement strategy and drive the category strategy through the procurement team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contract owners to ensure we deliver value for money, transparency, and performance from our supply chain.
- Ensure contracts are executed to the highest standards of integrity, in an open and honest manner, adhering to our NRC requirements and legislation for contracting and tendering.
