About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Cardiology team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Specialty Doctor, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Cardiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate effective delivery of direct patient care.
  • Work closely with junior managers to oversee the delivery of high-calibre care and efficient use of facilities, manpower, and other resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of our Cardiology services, including the implementation of new procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our quality improvement strategy.

Requirements
  • First-level registered nurse qualification.
  • Basic Life Support provider certification.
  • Experience at Band 5 in an acute setting.
  • Knowledge of a general hospital setting.
  • Proficient clinician and clinical role model.
  • Care of the medical patient.
  • Care of the acutely ill patient.
  • Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the NHS.
