Your Job Duties May Include:- Interacting with guests in an efficient, hospitable, and professional manner
- Demonstrating full knowledge of bar and menu items
- Assessing guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Following up on guest requests throughout service
- Immediately communicating any food or service issues to management
- Maintaining proper set-up and cleanliness of station and service areas
- Delivering elements of service within established timeframes
- Verifying guests who purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
- Demonstrating accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills
- Possessing strong interpersonal, problem identification, and problem-solving skills, verbal, and written communication skills
- Being willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet the changing demands of the industry
- Having flexibility to work varied shifts to include days and nights, weekends, and holidays
- Being able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Following all cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices as mandated by the company and local regulatory agencies
- Having computer literacy with the ability to learn Aloha Point of Sale System
- Exhibiting accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills
- Having a positive attitude
- Able to obtain relevant training certificate and/or licensure
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, and/or walk often. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:The work environment is a kitchen and theatre environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high with an occasional loud environment.
Education Required:- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- High school diploma preferred
