Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Primary Education Support Specialist to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance in specific subjects or areas of development.
  • Classroom Environment: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, fostering a love for learning and promoting positive behavior among students.
  • Resource Development: Assist in planning and organizing educational activities and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Progress Tracking: Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.
  • IEPs and Special Needs: Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise students during break times and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • Passion for Education: A strong passion for working with primary school children and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Patience and Empathy: Patience, empathy, and understanding to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational or voluntary capacity is desirable but not essential.
  • Team Player: Enthusiasm to contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
