About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team on a part-time basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children in their academic and social development, with a focus on boosters and interventions for students needing extra help.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom support for the Key Stage 1 teacher, helping with daily lessons and activities.
  • Lead small group interventions for children who require extra help in reading, writing, and maths.
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their learning needs are met and they feel included in the classroom environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and contribute to creating a vibrant and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of individual students, offering feedback and guidance to help them succeed.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 1.
