Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our team of environmental experts. As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on various types of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct acoustic assessments and undertake noise monitoring to provide clients with recommendations for noise control.
- Analyze data to provide clients with effective solutions for noise reduction.
- Visit sites to gather data and assess noise levels.
- Liaise with planning consultants, architects, engineers, and clients to design effective acoustic solutions.
- Prepare technical reports outlining findings and proposed solutions.
Requirements:
- Relevant Acoustics degree or similar.
- Full UK driving license.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in conducting acoustic assessments and providing solutions (desirable).
- Proficiency in acoustic modeling software, such as CadnaA or Insul (desirable).
- Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) (desirable).
