Job Description

Senior Business Analyst with PnL/Position/Treasury experience. Trading. £105,000 Base + Discretionary Bonus and Benefits.

About the Role

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and improving operational efficiency through the implementation of a comprehensive Treasury solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assimilate complex information and understand the technical capabilities of proprietary systems.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key Treasury processes and concepts, including PnL, Finance, and Position.
  • Communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ellicit, clarify, and articulate requirements clearly and comprehensively.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of developers and QA's to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience working with a Treasury function within a large, fast-paced trading environment.
  • Experience integrating a third-party system into a complex IT landscape.
  • Exposure and understanding of PnL, Finance, and Position terminology and concepts.
  • Proficient in the application of SQL and APIs for complex data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience capturing requirements in a clear, concise, and testable way.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum/Kanban methodology.
