As a Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of our warehouse operations and logistics processes. You will manage inventory, coordinate shipments, optimize warehouse layout, and lead a team of warehouse team leaders and staff to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff
- Improve procedures and processes with the Quality Manager
- Monitor staff performance and conduct annual appraisals
- Manage departmental costs within budget and plan warehouse activities
- Implement training programs for receipt, inspection, and dispatch processes
- Oversee component identification, documentation, handling, packaging, and inspection
- Oversee material transactions in the Quantum Inventory Management System
- Ensure received parts meet quality requirements
- Manage logistics for cost-effective material shipping and regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to inventory audit controls and promote quality and safety policies
- Liaise with the Teardown Manager and Trading Team for inventory management
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Experience in warehouse management or logistics
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office
- Knowledge of Quantum Inventory system beneficial
- Full driving license
- Forklift truck license advantage
- Familiarity with Hazardous Materials Shipping and Handling procedures desirable
