About the Role

Crypto Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trader to join our team as an Algo Trading Specialist. As a key member of our DeFi trading team, you will be responsible for managing the PnL of our trading desk and associated risks. This involves offering input and suggesting improvements related to trading strategies and applications while working in collaboration with a senior quantitative developer and the management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Research and develop trading/market making strategies in De-Fi, focusing on providing value to market participants.
  • Trading System Monitoring: Monitor trading systems in real-time and adjust trading parameters to maximize profitability.
  • Trading System Efficiency: Analyze historic data and implement trading system efficiency improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree with significant quantitative elements, such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a well-established HFT/market-making/algo trading/quantitative firm and operating proprietary electronic market-making software.
  • Crypto Knowledge: Strong knowledge and passion for cryptocurrencies and DeFi trading.
  • Communication: Must be capable of communicating in English.
  • Remote Work: Must be comfortable working remotely.
  • Coding Skills: Matlab/Python coding skills - understanding of asynchronous programming is a plus.
  • Risk Management: Ability to manage risk associated with a derivative portfolio and the trading desk's PnL.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to draw unique insights from data in refining trading strategies.
