Coating Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Coating Operatives to join our team at Mactech Energy Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective coatings to the correct specification and using the correct products. This will involve checking steel adequacy from blast profile and surface cleanliness for the application of protective products, as well as ensuring correct product and masking details and overcoat periods.

• Apply protective coatings to the correct specification and using the correct products
• Check steel adequacy from blast profile and surface cleanliness for the application of protective products
• Check wet pool thickness
• Check specification to ensure correct product and masking details and overcoat periods
• Apply coatings using correct equipment
• Demask steel after applying coating
• Clean line and equipment

• One of the following qualifications: OPITO Level 1 Blaster/Sprayer, Train the Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator, ICATS Protective Coatings Applicator, or ECITB Skills Test Alternative/Skills Test Number: TICA-A01/TICA-P01
• Must also hold CCNSG Safety Passport
• Minimum 2 years' experience in similar industry
