We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL SME to join our team. As a MySQL SME, you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting L3 tasks independently, maintaining MySQL databases servers, and performing scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all functions associated with maintenance of MySQL databases servers, including security, back-up, reporting, and recovery procedures.
  • Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases, including rollout, migration, and upgrades.
  • Implementation and release of database.
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Refine and automate regular processes like Change Request/Incident/Service Request, track issues, and document changes.
  • Troubleshooting Database Crash.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience supporting MySQL Server, strong analytical skills for problem-solving database-related issues, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Thorough knowledge of data security, setup, and configuration of high availability concepts like Replication, Cluster, Group Replication.
  • Strong understanding of DR Drill activity.
  • Need to know how to create Incidents, Change Request, Service Request, and perform the RCA for problem tickets.
