About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on employee health and wellbeing, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality occupational health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fitness for work and pre-commencement health assessments
  • Manage sickness absence cases and provide advice on return-to-work strategies
  • Provide infection prevention and control advice to staff
  • Contribute to policy and strategy development in occupational health
  • Support the development and training of junior staff and students
Requirements
  • Substantial post-registration experience in general nursing
  • Substantial occupational health experience, including proficiency in absence management, body fluid exposure management, and pre-commencement health assessments
  • Supervisory experience of junior staff
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
  • Ability to be flexible, responsive, and dynamic
