About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Care Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fawkes & Reece. As a key member of our Customer Care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair in new build housing developments across the North West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs to domestic properties within warranty, as directed by the Customer Service Team
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including joinery repairs, decorating, tiling, flooring repairs, and minor brickwork repairs
  • Work alongside the Customer Service Team to receive job instructions and manage the diary of repairs booked
  • Provide updates on completed jobs and follow-up work required
  • Collaborate with office staff and field-based staff to ensure seamless service provision
  • Plan workload, ensuring all necessary materials are obtained in advance
  • Provide delivery notes and receipts to the Customer Service Manager on a regular basis
  • Submit a weekly mileage log to the Customer Service Manager
Requirements
  • Qualified tradesman with experience in all trades
  • Proven track record of working in a customer-related environment within the house building/construction industry
  • Good knowledge of housebuilding and NHBC standards
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Clean driving license preferred
  • Experience working in new build homes
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and a can-do attitude
