About the Role

Your new opportunity awaits As a Building Surveyor, you will be working with a leading Social Housing provider in South Yorkshire, as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Your primary focus will be on undertaking inspections of residences, diagnosing issues, and making evidence-based recommendations to ensure the housing portfolio is maintained at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of surveys, including planned and reactive maintenance repairs, voids, damp and mould, and condensation surveys.
  • Create a schedule of works based on your findings and engage with stakeholders, such as contractors, developers, and local authorities, to ensure identified defects are repaired to the required standard.
  • Listen to and log customers' queries during your visits, providing a point of referral.
Requirements
  • A technical qualification, such as HNC or RICS.
  • Experience working in a Social Housing or Local Authority Environment, preferably with residential properties.
  • Repairs, Maintenance, Disrepair, Damp and Mould, and Voids experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers.
