Job Summary

The Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program that aligns with the company's overall risk management strategy. This includes identifying and mitigating potential security risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and providing guidance and support to employees on information security best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an information security program that aligns with the company's risk management strategy
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks, including those related to data breaches, cyber attacks, and other threats
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on information security best practices, including training and awareness programs
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the security of company systems and data
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of company data
  • Monitor and report on security incidents and breaches
  • Develop and implement a metrics and reporting framework to measure the effectiveness of the information security program
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an information security role
  • Experience with ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and other relevant regulations and standards
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an insurance company
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure security
  • Microsoft Azure security certification
