Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient test engineer to become part of our dynamic team in Poole. The successful candidate will bring a solid background in system testing, demonstrating expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques, along with exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough static assessments of project documentation and requirements
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios and cases
- Implement test cases and analyze the results
- Ensure compliance with testing standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate effectively with development and project teams
- Oversee the maintenance of testing equipment and environments
- Support a customer-focused approach in all testing activities
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in System Testing roles
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent qualification
- Familiarity with software testing tools and methodologies
Core Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office applications
- Experience with SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to quality and thorough testing practices
- Understanding of software development processes
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the Test Manager
