NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering skilled occupational therapy interventions to individuals with substance misuse and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to individuals with substance misuse and mental health difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on substance misuse and mental health issues.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working with individuals with substance misuse and mental health difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
