Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our client's workshop in Swadlincote. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling machinery and conveyor systems using stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in a busy factory setting, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling machinery and conveyor systems.
  • You will work with a team of experts, but you will be the star when it comes to turning raw materials into something functional and impressive.
  • Some site work is available, which means a bit of variety in your day-to-day.

What We Offer:

  • A full-time permanent position with a steady Monday to Friday schedule - 40 hours a week with plenty of overtime on the table if you're up for it.
  • A top hourly rate of up to £18.93 per hour plus those juicy overtime opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Preferably, you're time-served, with at least five years' experience in metal fabrication.
  • You're no newbie; you know your way around stainless steel like the back of your hand.
  • You've got solid TIG welding experience, specifically with stainless steel. If precision is your middle name, we're talking to you.
  • The legal right to work in the UK (we've got to tick that box, of course).
