Senior Project Coordinator

Imperial College London is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a research project focused on the epidemiology and control of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with project staff in the UK and Ethiopia to stay up-to-date with current research activities and project needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with collaborators in Ethiopia and the funder CIFF.
  • Oversee activities of a research group working on NTDs based in the department of infectious disease epidemiology.
  • Manage logistics around endline events, suppliers, and procurement of materials for project delivery to Ethiopia.
  • Liaise with international partners on project matters and procurement.
  • Manage cost-effective data analysis and publication of results.
  • Organize meetings with project staff and funders to communicate results.
  • Contribute to publications, reports, and documents; facilitate their distribution.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations and education materials.
  • Provide logistical and operational support to project staff and the PI when required.
Requirements
  • Interest in infectious disease epidemiology and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience of grant management and reporting.
  • Experience in member engagement and/or internal & external relationship management.
  • Ability to present information effectively at meetings and give positive input to discussions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment with competing demands.
  • Ability to organize own work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and be open-minded and cooperative.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Meticulous approach and attention to detail.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position based at the White City Campus of Imperial College London.
