Furniture Design Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Design Assistant to join our team at The Design and Interiors Recruitment Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our designers with creating room and furniture plans for client presentations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work with numbers and measurements, and have experience with CAD software. They will be responsible for creating technical drawings for client projects, and will work closely with our designers to ensure that all plans are accurate and meet client requirements.
The role will involve working on a 5-day week, including Saturdays, with Sundays and one other day off per week. The successful candidate will be required to work on Saturdays, as this is a busy day for the showroom.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work well under pressure. If you have a passion for design and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist designers with creating room and furniture plans for client presentations
- Work with numbers and measurements to ensure accuracy of plans
- Use CAD software to create technical drawings for client projects
- Work closely with designers to ensure that all plans meet client requirements
