Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Area Manager to oversee our specialist supported living services in Wandsworth and Richmond. The successful candidate will lead a team to deliver outstanding care services, ensuring the highest standards of performance and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage a team to deliver exceptional care services, setting high standards of performance and promoting good practice and continual improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all policy and contractual requirements for the management of risk, including safeguarding, incidents, and complaints handling.
- Service Development and Improvement
- Proactively participate in policy development and service delivery improvements.
- Work with the Regional Operations Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and achieve business objectives.
- Business Development and Partnerships
- Grow local partnerships and networks to enhance service delivery and raise the Servol profile.
- Work with the Regional Operations Manager to identify local funding opportunities, developing bids to enhance business development and growth.
Requirements
- Level 4 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or related subject.
- Able to demonstrate a robust understanding of housing management policy, process, and legislation.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements in social care.
- Demonstrable understanding of financial management.
- Experience of service monitoring and reporting, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
