Job Title: Chef/Chef Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Breakfast and Lunch Services: Deliver high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the onsite catering team of 5 direct reports, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the modern kitchen and front of house environment, ensuring the correct use of all kitchen machinery and equipment.
  • Brand Representation: Represent 14forty and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Compliance: Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, Health & Safety regulations, and complete weekly bookwork and reports.
  • Stock Management: Conduct stock taking and ordering, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Culinary Skills: Possess excellent culinary skills, with experience in managing client relationships and delivering results.
  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, able to engage and motivate others.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: Experienced Chef Manager in a similar role, ideally in contract catering, producing food and adhering to recipes and menu planning.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in MS Office and emails.
  • Business Management: Proven business management skills within a kitchen environment.
