Job Title: Real Estate Associate

Join our team at Addleshaw Goddard as a Real Estate Associate and contribute to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. As a key member of our Real Estate Managed Legal Services team, you will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice and support on a range of commercial property matters.

About the Role:
  • Work on a variety of interesting commercial property matters, including underleases, lease renewals, and disposals.
  • Advise on property queries received from clients and bring in specialist lawyers when needed.
  • Develop relationships with our clients' internal teams and act as a trusted advisor capable of providing timely and quality advice.
  • Work collaboratively as a cohesive team to execute large-scale, high-value client matters to the highest standard.
  • Enjoy a good work-life balance with increased certainty and flexibility in hours, with the option to work from home or in one of our offices.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Have 2+ years of experience as an Associate within commercial property and Real Estate matters, with retail experience desired.
  • Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range of matters, ensuring accuracy and levels of client service expected within a high-performing team.
  • Be enthusiastic about the development of your legal skill set and continuous learning.
  • Be confident in drafting clear and legally effective documents, which reflect the client's instructions.
  • Be inquisitive and want to understand our clients, their drivers, and what matters to them, so that your advice has quality, imagination, and impact.
