We are seeking an enthusiastic Placement Student Sales Application Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Power Systems Business Segment. During your placement, you will gain valuable experience and skills, learning how a major global organization operates and making a real impact in our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the department on key tasks and projects, working both independently and within teams.
  • Deliver technical seminars in the factory and onsite, showcasing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with our team, learning how to make decisions and contribute to our success.
  • Provide technical support to Dealers & Distributors, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
  • Interact with different functions and Cummins factories worldwide, expanding your network and understanding of our global operations.
  • SOURCE, INTERPRET, AND DEVELOP TECHNICAL DATA, WORKING TOWARDS AGREED DEADLINES.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for students currently studying Electrical/Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to our team's needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, CAD, Power BI, and ENSYS, with skills in other areas beneficial but not essential.
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and take on responsibilities.
