We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Skills and Employability Team as a 16-18 Programme Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the learning offer for young people with SEND.
  • Manage sustainable relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the learning and skills sector.
  • Provide expert advice on cost-effective and appropriate support for Post 16 young people with SEND in FE and specialist provision.
  • Design and lead on projects that maximize the opportunities and benefits of participating in education and training.
  • Programme and performance management of delivery providers.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualification in education, training, or SEND, or significant sector experience.
  • Experience in project development and management, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of the current challenges facing local government in post-16 education and SEND.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
